MUDA was being elected as the International Secretariat of the International UAV Application Industry Alliance (IUAIA) in Shandong, China for the development and application in UAV industry. The Alliance included the country members like Romanian, Ukraine, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Nepal and etc. IUAIA initiated the ground breaking ceremony in Shandong for the Asia Biggest Indoor UAV Competition Airbase.

MUDA represented Malaysia to be an official founding country member in World UAV Federation and being invited as the distinguished guest among 38 countries delegation to the Launching Ceremony in Shenzhen, China.

MUDA hosted China and Singapore delegates to the welcoming ceremony for country visit and exchange of knowledge for development in UAV and robotics from the secondary school level, St. John’s Institution, Kuala Lumpur.

MUDA had a signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding with Strat Aero PLC, a public listed company as a strategic partner and advisor to supporting MUDA technical knowledge and UAV industry development latest updates, in MAEPS (Malaysia Agro Exposition Park in Serdang, Malaysia) event which officiated by Malaysia Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak and the Malaysia Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister YB Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek.

MUDA co-established a MUDA Airbase for UAV Training Academy in Beijing with Asia Pacific UAV Industry Union countries member, hosted by the China Country Chapter, officiated and graced by the Central Party top leader of the China People Government, Madam Ku Siew Lian and the Minister of Aeronautics and Aerospace Industry, Mr. Lin Zhong Tang.

MUDA participated in 2017 Taiwan UAS Industry International Summit Forum and being interviewed by Taiwan National Broadcast TV-SAN, in conjunction of WCIT (World Congress of Information Technology), officiated by the Taiwan President Tsai Yin Wen. Thus, MUDA was delegated as a founding country for “Asia Pacific UAV Industry Union” (APUIU).

In IFSEC (International Security, Fire and Safety Convention and Conference) Southeast Asia held in KLCC, officiated by the Malaysia Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Home Affair, YAB Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi. MUDA co-organised and being strategic partner to exhibit and promote the awareness of flying a drone to GLC and enforcement bodies like police, immigration, prison, customs, fire and rescue, defence intelligence with drones application on each fields.

MUDA signed Memorandum of Understandings with the Australian Ripper Group (Australia Drone Academy) and presentation of the drone training was conducted for hundreds of students and academician and school teachers.

MUDA proudly graced and officiated the opening ceremony by Malaysia Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak on 19th August 2017, in conjunction to Digital Langkawi Event.
